As a Crow Flies is dedicated to helping and sharing. Whether you are interested in collecting or drawing dolls for use in your graphics, or if you want to learn to make the pages for your web site yourself, this site can help you out.
Are you a beginner at HTML-CSS code writing? A great way to start learning is to take the intorductory classes in code wirting at GraphX Anonymous. You can learn In-Line Styling (Code1), Internal Style Sheets (Code2), Beginning Layout and Design (Code3) and External Style Sheets (Code4). Then with CT's HTML-CSS Reference Guide to help you, you will be able to create individual pages or a whole web site. The reference guide also features links to a color chart, a list of Windows Fonts, a list of the most common fonts and two HTML Starter Kits.
Or perhaps you are more inclined to work on improving your PSP (Paint Shop Pro) skills. The PSP Tutorials page lists tutorials by CT that have been featured in Activities presented at GraphX Anonymous. Most can be done whatever version of PSP that you are using and most are approriate for the beginner.
Several of the PSP tutorials are useful for making backdrops, rooms or props for use with Dollz. Start a collection of plants, animals, furniture and other props to use when making a graphic that shows off the dollz that you either collect or draw for yourself.
CT has several groups of her dollz privided that are available for "adoption". Included are some of her bases which you can use for drawing dollz of your own. No link-back is required unless you use the doll or a doll drawn on one of the bases on a web page.
A list of drawing tips and help is also included so that you can enjoy using these or other dolls in your graphic images. You are welcome to go to GraphX Anonymous for classes in doll drawing. Dollz1 covers drawing hair and clothing on bases that you collect. Dollz2 provides the begining steps in drawing faces on bases. And Dollz3 teaches you how to draw your own bases.
If you are looking for PSP classes or code classes, GraphX Anonymous is the place to go. New classes start the second week of each month. Students from "GA" fill signature requests at The Siggy Side and Doll Class and Code Class graduates hang out at The Workshop. And CTs Nest is my own personal forum.
Visit The Crow's Nest to find out what Ebooks and other graphic aids are currently being offered there. And it is worth your while to check out Wianland Tutorials for Wian's famous easy-to-follow PSP tuts.
